The main objective of the project is to create an Book Folio that allows users to search and purchase a book online based on title, author and subject. 

The selected books are displayed in a tabular format and the user can order their books online through credit card payment.

 Using this Website the user can purchase a book online instead of going out to a book store and wasting time. There are many Book Folio like Powell’s, Amazon which were designed using Html. I want to develop a similar website using .NET, SQL Server. Book Folio is an online web application where the customer can purchase books online. 

Through a web browser the customers can search for a book by its title or author, later can add to the shopping cart and finally purchase using credit card transaction. The user can login using his account details or new customers can set up an account very quickly. 

They should give the details of their name, contact number and shipping address. The user can also give feedback to a book by giving ratings on a score of five.

Book Exchange is the practice of a swap of books, it provides an inexpensive way for people to exchange books, find out about new books and obtain a book to read without having to pay.

 Books are costly and book buyback services do not offer much money for used books. Many User have books that they would like to exchange but they do not currently have an easy way to connect. 

We propose to design an online book exchange interface for user to exchange books. Online Book Exchange System will exist to put users in touch with each other. Online Book Exchange System will not facilitate online auctions or currency exchange. Users of the book exchange will be current students and any person. A book exchange works in a number of ways. 

A book exchange can be done among various people, for many reasons. A book exchange is when people exchange books for a number of reasons.

 They may want to read other books, or it could be that they want to exchange some good books. Whatever the reason, a book exchange can be a fun event, and a good opportunity for those who like to read.

Book Anything Application

Book Anything Application” is being developed by me for a client of Implicit Solutions whose requirement is related to traffic, they all get traffic updates, and get your location through GPS that and also to make complete distribution of location, groups, SMS plans and other things possible i.e. a solution using which all general users can be together alerts and other information, based on that complete journey can be held successfully.

 This portal addresses the need of an integrated platform to manage, monitor and control the various issues related to events. The web acts as a great medium for connecting people and a platform which connects the event creators to interested attendees is much needed.

 The portal will also act as a source of revenue for the organizers and site owner as well. The user view of this portal is aimed at leveraging the inherent social nature of events and making use of that to give the portal a social media spinoff. 

We chose to do this project on Android platform in J2EE as this language is “write once and run everywhere” technology, support the intercommunication of java objects / other objects across the network, and provide security. It is a simple, streamlined and well integrated platform. 

Now-a-days we all used to smart phones and in these types of phones web application most of runs on this platform because it is user-friendly and open source application. The document will discuss all the facets of developing such an application including all the functional and non-functional requirements.
